Professional Experience

Doug Subers joined KP Public Affairs in 2009. With the economy becoming a major focus in California, Mr. Subers is currently working on a statewide coalition effort to promote economic development. Additionally, Mr. Subers is part of building a statewide grassroots education program to address California’s water crisis. Mr. Subers is also assisting KP staff on projects involving transportation, single-sales factor, and the California Small Business Association.

Mr. Subers brings an abundance of knowledge regarding public polling, the economy, and grass roots outreach. Prior to joining KP, Mr. Subers worked in finance allowing him to bring a broad skill set to clients.

While attending Rutgers University, Mr. Subers worked on a project at the Eagleton Institute of Politics to create an election exit poll in a hotly contested 7th Congressional District Seat in New Jersey. The widely published results of the exit poll were used to study voting patterns relating to party affiliation and gender differences. Both candidates used reports from the exit poll to implement more effective campaign strategies in the next election.

Education

Mr. Subers holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers University - New Brunswick.
