Professional Experience

As a lobbyist for KP Public Affairs, Eloy Garcia plays a leadership role in providing strategic counsel to KP Advocacy’s energy clients. Mr. Garcia also represents clients in the areas of energy and resources. He is also closely involved in the State of California's ongoing regulatory processes to implement AB 32 (the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006), which will establish mandatory carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas reductions for industries doing business in California.

Prior to joining KP Public Affairs, Mr. Garcia was the Director of California State Affairs for the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers where he led the Alliance’s lobbying and public relations on the West Coast including California, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and Arizona.

Mr. Garcia previously served as the Legislative Director for former Assemblyman Scott Wildman where he was responsible for the development and management of the Assemblyman’s legislative package and directed the capitol office’s media relations. Prior to that, Mr. Garcia was a legislative aide to Assemblyman Joe Baca.
