Professional Experience
Gino Folchi joined KP Public Affairs in 2007. He is currently working on an alternative energy project in Northern California and assisting other KP staff with projects involving tribal gaming, bottled water, and a California peace officer’s association.
Mr. Folchi brings a wealth of knowledge regarding the people, politics, and social climate of rural California, which is of particular value to KP clients interested in doing business in sparsely populated and economically depressed areas.
While a student at George Mason University, Mr. Folchi interned in the Washington office of California Congressman Wally Herger. He also worked for DCLRS, a Washington, D.C. based lobby firm specializing in the chemical, fertilizer and pesticide industries. In this capacity, he drafted papers on federal, state and local government policies on pesticides, bioenergy and small business. He also regularly attended House committee hearings on behalf of clients.
Education
Mr. Folchi graduated from George Mason University in 2007 with a degree in Government and International Politics.
