KP Public Affairs Hires New Public Relations Professional, Samantha Minor

Sacramento, CA – KP Public Affairs (KP) is pleased to announce that Samantha Minor has joined the firm as a public relations professional. She has extensive experience with project management, marketing, and strategic planning which has enabled her to establish a track record of successful marketing campaigns and outreach programs in Sacramento and throughout California.

Minor has a strong public policy background from her prior role as a district representative for City of Sacramento Councilmember, Steve Hansen, where she developed policy objectives for the Sacramento City Council to address issues related to homelessness, quality of life, rent control, among others. She also managed more than $65 million in the City’s economic development projects that included Powerhouse Science Center, Convention Center Renovation (C3), Old Sacramento Waterfront, and Capitol Mall Renovation.

Previously, Minor worked as a Project Associate for Valley Vision, where she produced Sacramento Regional Next Economy Cluster reports, convened forums with employers, trained partners to identify workforce skills gaps, and developed regional action plans.

Minor began her role at KP on May 6, 2019.
